Crepes

WOW!!!! These crepes are some of the most delightful things I have EVER put in my mouth!!!! My kids ask for them at least 3 times a week!!!! And with faces like these who could resist? The stack you see in front of them is this recipe times 4!!


1/2 C Flour
1/2 tsp Salt
1 C Milk
4 Eggs
3 Tbs Melted butter

Combine the flour, salt, and Milk. Blend until smooth.
Add the eggs and blend until encorporated.
Add the butter and blend.


How to cook a Crepe:
Pour 1/4 C into a hot pan
Then swirl it around until all of the batter sticks

Keep swirling

When it all sticks it looks like this

When the crepe is done cooking the edges will barely turn brown like this. You DO NOT want it to be any more brown then this. You will end up with a rubbery crepe!

To get the crepe out run a spatula around the edge and flip the pan over.

When flipped over it will look like this

My family likes to eat it like this. We put a little butter on the crepe first and then put about a tablespoon of powdered sugar on top.

Then roll it up
This looks like it takes a long time, but each crepe only takes about 30 seconds to make.
