Famous Bread Pudding

Made Famous By: Heather McMullin

***One of my favorites***

**Sorry this took me so long to get up. It has been requested many times because it is THAT good.....with out further delay.....**

I for one don't like bread pudding....but THIS bread pudding is absolutely to die for! SERIOUSLY!!!!! It is super easy and super yum!

1 1/2 loaves White Bread
4 oz Real Butter (1 Stick)
1/2 pt. Egg Beaters
2 C. Sugar
2 TBS Cinnamon
1 tsp Salt
5 1/2 C Milk
1 tsp Vanilla

Tear the bread into pieces and place them in a casserole pan.

In a large bowl combine all the rest of the ingredients and then pour them over the bread. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes so all of the sugary goodness soaks into the bread.

350 for 45-60 minutes. Start checking it at 40 minutes. Ovens vary so just make sure it is cooked through in the middle.

Allow the bread pudding to cool for about 10 minutes then pour Bourbon frosting over the bread pudding while the bread pudding is still hot and serve immediately.

Now for the frosting!!!!!!!!!!!! Holy Cow this is the best EVER!

Bourbon Frosting

1 package of Powdered Sugar
1 Lb of room temperature Butter (yes one pound!)
12 oz Bourbon (get really good stuff)

Pour the 12oz of Bourbon in a sauce pan. Boil until reduced by half or until all of the alcohol is cooked out and the flavor condenses.

Meanwhile combine the powdered sugar and butter in a bowl.

When the Bourbon is reduced add it to the powdered sugar and butter.

You now have KILLER frosting with KILLER bread pudding. ENJOY!!!!
