Martha Rolls

Made Famous by: Marta McMullin

Just looking at this picture makes my mouth water!
My Mother in Law Martha makes the most wonderful rolls on the planet!
This year for Christmas she made all of her friends these home made rolls and some home made jelly for their Christmas gifts. Can you think of a better gift? I can't!
They are soft, light, and fluffy!

2 Eggs
1 C Very Warm Canned Evaporated Milk
2 TB Butter
1/2 C Sugar
3/4 tsp Salt
3 C Flour
2 1/4 tsp Yeast

-Warm the evaporated milk in a microwave. (very warm NOT hot)
-Put the sugar and yeast in the milk.
-Once the yeast is activated mix all of the other ingredients together.
-If you have a bread maker you can put all of the ingredients in the bread maker and let the bread maker mix and let the dough rise. If you don't have one mix all of the ingredients together in a bowl and let it rise until it doubles.
-Once it has doubled in size Roll the dough out and cut it into triangles, like a pizza. Then roll them up like crescent rolls.
-When you have them rolled up let them double in size again.
-When they have doubled bake them in a 350 degree oven for 15-16 minutes or until golden brown and delicious!
