I am always super busy with baseball. Almost every night of the week we don't
get home until 6- 6:30 at night. By that time I am tired and the kids
are STARVING!! So I try really hard to have a meal ready for them.
I don't want to turn into the fast food Mom. The Deep Dish Covered Baker helps me do just that. Most of the recipes I have posted for the DDCB allow me to have dinner ready. I get everything ready to go and into the DDCB.
That way when I get home all I have to do is pop it in the microwave and dinner is done in no time. Literally no time! This mac-n-Cheese is done in 8 minutes!!
I have tried a lot of Mac-n-Cheese recipes
and this one by far is the easiest and the best!!
What is even better is that it tastes wonderful in the Deep Dish Covered Baker!!!
1/2 cup Butter or Margarine
12-oz can Evaporated Milk
10 3/4 oz can Cheddar Cheese Soup
1 cup Milk
3 Cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1. Cook Macaroni al dente. Drain and pour hot macaroni into the Deep Dish Covered Baker.
2. Slice butter into chunks and add to macaroni. Stir until melted.
3. Combine eggs, evaporated milk, soup, milk and cheese. Pour over macaroni and mix well.
4. Cover and cook in the microwave for 8 minutes on high.
Follow the directions exactly. The only difference is that you put it
in the crock pot on low for 4 hours. Easy Peasy!
