They must have some magic in them!
I have been neglecting my cooking blog lately.
So SORRY!
Our computer broke, BOO.
Now the problem is solved, YAY!
So look forward to many more fantastic recipes!
Oreo Truffle Surprise Cookies
2 sticks softened butter
3/4 C Sugar
3/4 C Brown Sugar
2 Large Eggs
1 TB Vanilla
3 1/2 C Flour
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Baking Soda
2 C Chocolate Chips
21 Oreos
3 oz softened Cream Cheese
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix butter and sugars until well combined. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat until combined
Place flour salt baking soda in a large bowl and mix to combine. Add to wet ingredients along with the chocolate chips and mix until combined.
Place oreos in a food processor or blender, mix until finely ground. Place into a bowl and mix with cream cheese until dough forms. Take one tablespoon of dough and roll it into a ball. Continue until all dough has been rolled, you should get 36 balls, enough for all of the cookie dough.
With a large cookie scoop, scoop batter onto the cooking sheet. Press a little hole into the center of each dough and put oreo truffle inside. Cover cookie dough around each oreo truffle so it is hidden in the middle. Bake for 13-15 minutes or until the edges of the cookies just begin to turn brown. Remove and cool.
If you can't wait just gobble them right up!!
