This my friends is what heaven looks like!!
My boys operate on a different operating system than my daughter
does. boys are rough and tumble, knee
scraping, fish lovin’, balls of energy.
My daughter on the other hand is extremely girlie, loves pink, dances on
her tippy toes and won’t touch creepy crawlies.
When my boys get a scrape or are sick they generally brush
it off pick themselves right up and go about playing despite any scrapes or bruises
or being sick. My daughter on the other
hand…….well let’s just say it is the END OF THE WORLD if she gets a scrape or
is sick.
If she gets a tiny little cut I hear about her owie multiple
times a day until the owie is completely gone.
Even days after said injury occurred and already has a scab, I am still
hearing about it and her world revolves around her tiny huge
injury.
It cracks me up to be honest.
Yesterday her nose was runny and her little eyes were
watering like crazy, drama, drama, drama.
So we spent the day in bed watching Tangled. I had the window cracked open
for some fresh air and at one point she looked at me with the saddest of
expressions and said, “Mommy please shut the window, my eyes are melting.”
My eyes are melting, oh my word. It was positively adorable. I took advantage of the situation and got extra-long
snuggles.
**sign** Love those moments!
Cookies and Cream Crescents
1 package Pillsbury Croissants
10 Double Stuft Oreo Cookies
1 Jar Marshmallow Cream
*Preheat the oven to 350
degrees
*Open the package of
crescents and separate each one on a cookie sheet.
*Put the Oreos in a
plastic zip lock bag and crunch them up.
I left my cookies in pretty big chunks.
*Place 2 TBS of crushed
up Oreos and 1 Tablespoon of marshmallow cream on the largest part of each
crescent.
*Wrap up each crescent so there no openings. Get creative when
wrapping them up so none of the filling leaks out. Even though it doesn’t look pretty at this
stage they will bake up perfectly.
*Bake for 10 minutes or
until golden brown. Let them sit for
about 5 minutes before eating.
**ENJOY!! **

so fun, and I totally love when my son is sick and wants to cuddle, I feel badly for him, but you know you cannot resist a cuddly kid. He is too big to hug or cuddle now so the sick time is when I can get it.
