I decided to make this crust out of jumbo Oatmeal Raisin
cookies and it-is-DIVINE. The best part
is It took me about 5 minutes to make and there are only two ingredients.
This is one of my go-to desserts if I have to make something
in a flash because it can be made with so many different fillings. I will share what I filled it with tomorrow!!
Oatmeal Cookie Crust (2 ingredients)
1 Box of Big Hard Oatmeal Cookies (I got mine at Trader
Joes)
½-3/4 Cup Real Butter
*In a food processor
finely grind the oatmeal cookies until there are no more chunks left. Then place the cookie crumbs in a large bowl.
*Melt the butter and then
add it to the oatmeal cookie crumbs.
*Press into the bottom of your favorite pie or bar dish.

ReplyDeleteIt was REALLY yummy!!! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is brilliant! The idea of using other cookies besides the typical graham crackers or oreos is great.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous idea! And mmmm...Trader Joe's cookies? Those must make one amazing crust. Would be delighted for you to share this with us at Mop It Up Mondays (going on all week): http://www.ishouldbemoppingthefloor.com/2012/04/mop-it-up-mondays-10.html
